Washington

In July of 2021, I was in the state of Washington for the first time. Along with my dad and my grandpa, we arrived on a train trip from Durand, Michigan to Portland, Oregon on the Amtrak Empire Builder which passes though the eastern and southern parts of the state of Washington and overlooking the Columbia River and northern Oregon.
After Amtrak took us to Portland Oregon and we visited the Portland area, we returned to the state of Washington. In Tacoma, we visited the Museum of Glass.
In Seattle we visited the Space Needle.
In Everett, we visited Boeing Future of Flight.
We then took the car ferry to Whidbey Island where we visited Admiralty Head Lighthouse, Ebey’s Landing,
and the Coupeville 1905 wharf area.
We returned to Seattle to visit Pike Place Market.

After that, we visited the Museum of Flight at King County International Airport (aka Boeing Field).
