I visited Nebraska in August of 2013, traveling from Missouri earlier in the day (driving through the western edge of Iowa on the way), on a road trip with a friend of mine and my dad.

We visited two places in Omaha. First, we stopped at the Lewis & Clark National Historic Trail Visitor Center.

Next, we visited the Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium (Omaha Zoo)--including the Lied Jungle exhibit (the world’s largest indoor rain forest).

We then traveled back to Iowa.
